Job summary

Range is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to own our identity, access, and infrastructure end-to-end from our McLean HQ. You will automate onboarding, manage Google Workspace, SSO, and the macOS fleet across three offices, while ensuring security and auditability.

You'll collaborate with security, infrastructure, People and Finance, and contribute to IaC in Pulumi/Terraform, CI workflows in GitHub, and AI-driven automation to scale IT support. Based in Virginia with occasional travel to NY/Seattle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT systems administration or corporate engineering.
• Deep Google Workspace administration experience.
• macOS fleet management with an MDM (Jamf, Kandji, Mosyle) and Apple Business Manager.
• Hands-on SSO and identity experience: SAML, OIDC, SCIM, MFA, and RBAC.
• Scripting in TypeScript, Python, or Bash, and comfort working in Git with pull requests.
• A track record of automating onboarding, offboarding, and access management
• Strong security fundamentals: least privilege, encryption, endpoint protection, and incident response

Responsibilities

• Onboard, offboard, and manage employee lifecycle across apps with auditable workflows.
• Run Google Workspace as identity provider with SSO and provisioning.
• Own macOS fleet management and procurement across offices.
• Manage SaaS licenses, spend, and access; reduce tool sprawl.
• Write runbooks and build AI agents to resolve common IT requests.
• Partner on SOC 2 controls and incident response.
• Maintain office tech across multiple locations.
