Job summary

Western Alliance Bank is seeking an IT Manager III in the Enterprise Application Services team. You will lead the Common Services groups, oversee key applications such as BMC Control-M, Cleo Harmony, Babel Messaging, and ELK, and deliver complex projects that support production reconciliation, statements, and reporting.

You will provide technical leadership, partner with business teams, drive improvements, ensure security and governance, and mentor engineers while progressing the bank’s cyber

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT experience in app support, development, networking or similar.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Previous leadership experience required.
• Knowledge of Financial Services industry and relevant compliance expected.
• Experience managing technology teams within a functional area with high-quality delivery.
• Ability to analyze data, summarize findings, and communicate KPIs and timelines.
• Excellent speaking and writing communication skills.
• May travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Drive execution of project deliverables with clear milestones and cross-functional alignment.
• Provide technical leadership to engineering teams and ensure security and architecture standards.
