Job summary

Generate Capital seeks an IT Manager to own its IT infrastructure end to end, from Azure clouds to on‑prem networks and security tooling. You will be hands‑on, operate across desktop to server, and act as Tier 3 escalation for a vendor partner.

You’ll balance build vs buy and govern vendor relationships while driving a multi‑location IT agenda. You will manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and endpoint hygiene, with a focus on security, cost control, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive IT infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on Azure administration across networking, compute, storage, and security.
• Deep Microsoft 365 and identity stack expertise including Entra ID and Intune.
• Hybrid Windows Server/AD experience and strong networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Own Azure environment end to end including networking, VMs, storage, and cost management.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and identity platforms, MFA, and license management.
• Manage endpoint hygiene across Windows/macOS via Intune and MDM tooling.
• Lead cybersecurity operations and controls with MSP support and EDR tooling.
• Design and maintain office network infrastructure including VPN and firewalls.
• Escalation point for third‑party support and vendor governance with SLAs.
• Own IT infrastructure roadmap, build-vs-buy decisions, and budgeting.
• Collaborate with VP on planning, spend, and sequencing of investments.
• Oversee IT vendors, AV/conference room support, and vendor onboarding.
• Support core business apps (Slack, Microsoft 365) and tool rollouts.
• Ensure IT controls and audit/regulatory evidence in partnership with Compliance.
