Job summary

Leadmark Group is seeking an Information Technology Lead in Baltimore, MD to oversee day-to-day technology operations and shape long-term strategy. The role combines hands-on technical work with team leadership, cybersecurity, project management, and strategic planning.

Reporting to executive leadership, you will guide an IT team, ensure reliable, secure infrastructure, and drive impactful technology initiatives, including AI adoption and office tech improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive IT experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, infrastructure, networking, and business applications.
• Experience balancing strategic leadership with hands-on technical work.
• Experience leading technology projects from planning through implementation.
• Knowledge of information security best practices and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team while remaining hands-on with complex technical initiatives.
• Oversee reliability, performance, and security of the tech environment including Microsoft 365, cloud, servers, networking, and devices.
• Lead cybersecurity initiatives including endpoint protection, MFA, IAM, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Manage firm-wide technology projects: Microsoft 365 enhancements, cloud migrations, infra upgrades, and software implementations.
• Guide AI adoption to boost productivity, research, and workflow efficiency.
• Manage technology vendors, contracts, renewals, and service levels.
• Translate business needs into practical technology solutions and identify automation opportunities.
• Oversee help desk operations and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Support professional services apps: document management, billing, timekeeping, litigation support, eDiscovery.
• Assist with budgeting, policies, and long-term IT strategy.
