Job summary

Care Compass Network is seeking an IT Interoperability Manager to lead regional data sharing and interoperability across physical health, behavioral health, and public health domains. You will own the regional IT plan and oversee its execution, coordinating with partners, vendors, and internal teams.

You will guide data governance, security, and interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR) while managing budgets and timelines. A strong leadership presence and healthcare IT expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, IT, Public Health, CS or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in health data, interoperability, or IT/data systems with leadership in interoperability.
• Experience leading technical projects, cross-functional teams, and vendor relationships.
• Deep knowledge of HIE/interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, C-CDA, X12, ADT).
• HIPAA/HITECH, 42 CFR Part 2, PHI/PII governance and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership on health data interoperability for rural health transformation program.
• Identify stakeholders across multiple health domains to support interoperability initiatives.
• Inventory data systems, HIE connections, and analytics capacity across a 10-county region.
• Lead design, configuration, onboarding, and operation of interoperability connections and dashboards.
• Oversee budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships for interoperability solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and roadmap alignment with HITRUST boundaries.
