Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC seeks an IT Hardware Engineer to design, deploy, test, and sustain enterprise hardware in classified environments. You will provide Tier 3 support and ensure compliance with IA and DoD requirements.

You will manage hardware lifecycle, troubleshoot complex issues, and develop SOPs for mission readiness across DIA facilities. Strong security, CM, and ITSM experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• 5+ years designing, deploying and maintaining enterprise IT hardware.
• Willingness to support after-hours, on-call, or emergency operations.
• Hands-on hardware installation, upgrades, testing, and enterprise IT service.
• Experience providing Tier 3 technical support and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise IT hardware systems.
• Conduct hardware testing, validation, and troubleshooting for performance.
• Provide Tier 3 support for complex hardware failures and repairs.
• Maintain IT equipment across DIA facilities and lifecycle processes.
• Develop and maintain hardware SOPs and procedures.
• Support change, risk, and IT service management activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and cybersecurity teams.
