Job summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking an IT Hardware Engineer to design, deploy, test, and sustain enterprise IT hardware systems in classified and unclassified environments. The role provides Tier 3 technical support and requires strong lifecycle management of IT assets.

The ideal candidate has TS/SCI clearance, 5+ years of DoD/IC experience, and familiarity with ITSM, asset management, and security standards.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field; substitution allowed.
• CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent IAT II certification required.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise IT hardware systems.
• Conduct hardware testing, validation, and troubleshooting for operational performance.
• Provide Tier 3 support for complex hardware failures and root cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain hardware SOPs and procedures.
