Job summary

GEICO is seeking a Senior Tech Support specialist with deep Windows/Apple/macOS expertise to join the Technical Field Engineering team. This on-site role provides support across regional offices, with emphasis on macOS, iOS, and Apple hardware, plus MDМ administration and endpoint security.

Travel to other GEICO offices nationwide is expected; five days a week on-site in Chicago. After-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or 4 years of equivalent experience).
10+ years' experience supporting operating systems (Windows and Macintosh), with significant depth in macOS/Apple ecosystem support.
5+ years of hands-on experience in technical support, IT infrastructure, networking, or AV systems support.
Demonstrated experience administering an enterprise MDM solution.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; customer-facing expertise.

Responsibilities

Serve as SME for macOS and Apple devices across regional offices.
Provide Tier I–III troubleshooting for macOS incidents and service requests.
Administer, inventory, and patch management for Apple devices; ensure security baselines.
Develop scripts to automate macOS configuration and compliance enforcement.
Travel to other GEICO offices in the U.S. for projects and support.
