Job summary

GEICO is seeking a Senior Tech Support specialist to join our Technical Field Engineering team. The role focuses on on-site support for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Apple hardware, with MDM administration and endpoint security across GEICO offices, including travel to other U.S. sites.

The position is full-time and onsite with potential after-hours work. Strong depth in macOS and Apple technologies is essential, along with experience in IT infrastructure and project support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, CS, or related field or 4 years of equivalent experience.
• 10+ years' experience supporting Windows/macOS with depth in macOS/Apple ecosystem.
• 5+ years of hands-on IT support, infrastructure, networking or AV systems.
• Experience administering an enterprise MDM solution (e.g., Jamf).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; independent troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support and maintenance across GEICO regional offices.
• Serve as SME for macOS and Apple devices; Tier I-III support and escalation.
• Administer patch management, device configuration, and security baselines for Apple devices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify root causes and implement permanent fixes.
• Support Windows Server and general IT infrastructure; document procedures and configurations.
• Travel to other GEICO offices as needed for projects and rollouts.
