Job summary

NerdsToGo is seeking an IT service professional to perform desktop configurations, installations, upgrades, and proactive remote monitoring for business systems. The Nerd must have a strong field service background, solid technical skills, and excellent communication to grow with a fast-moving team.

The role involves on-site support for Windows and Apple hardware, network setup and maintenance, data protection, and training. A customer-first mindset is essential as the company expands nationwide.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience with Windows-based PCs (Win7, Win8, Win10) and networking in both residential and business environments.
• Strong PC troubleshooting and repair skills (hardware & software/OS).
• Proven customer-oriented, professional work ethic and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Onsite computer solutions for Windows-based PCs and Apple computers.
• Network installation and maintenance (wired, wireless, LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
• Data recovery and loss prevention.
• Virus protection and Spyware/Adware removal.
• System repair and upgrades.
• One-on-one training.
• Server deployment utilizing Cloud Infrastructure.
