Job summary

Motive is seeking a Senior Manager, IT Engineering to lead the strategy, architecture, and execution of our global IT engineering capabilities. This role oversees infrastructure, networks, systems, and automation while guiding cross-functional initiatives across multiple teams. You will report to the Global Head of IT and join a hybrid work model based in multiple U.S.

cities. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong people leadership and sound business judgment.

Qualifications

• Senior IT engineering leader with hands-on architecture experience
• Proven track record building scalable, secure enterprise IT environments
• Experience leading cross-functional, globally distributed teams

Responsibilities

• Establish IT engineering strategy, roadmap, OKRs and resource plans
• Lead design and execution of cross-functional initiatives for reliability, scalability and security
• Define architecture principles and operating practices across infra, networks, systems and automation
• Guide build-versus-buy decisions and technology selection with vendors
• Set performance metrics, documentation standards and operating mechanisms
• Develop and coach the team through clear expectations and succession planning
