Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Lead to guide regional IT infrastructure strategy and architecture for WAN, LAN, server, cloud, and hybrid environments across North America. You will lead a team of infrastructure professionals focused on scalability, cybersecurity, and operational readiness for factory expansions and site moves.

The role requires 8+ years in complex IT infrastructure, 3+ years in people leadership, and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT/engineering/CS.
• 8+ years in multi-site IT infrastructure roles.
• 3+ years leading technical professionals and cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional infrastructure strategy and architecture for WAN, LAN, server, cloud, hybrid, factory infrastructure.
• Direct infrastructure requirements for greenfield and brownfield factories, expansions, moves, and cutovers, including capacity, circuits, routing, redundancy, cybersecurity, and supportability.
• Own infrastructure demand, ordering, lifecycle, and investment planning; coordinate acceptance criteria and delivery.
• Lead, coach, and develop assigned infrastructure professionals across connectivity, cybersecurity, server, cloud, and related domains.
• Serve as the regional infrastructure point of contact for internal project teams and corporate IT groups.
• Evaluate and recommend infrastructure technologies based on scalability, resilience, performance, cybersecurity, supportability, cost; communicate risks and budget implications.
• Guide technical response to infrastructure-related major incidents, recovery, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
