Job summary

Blockchain is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to join our Operations team in Dallas. You will provide comprehensive IT support to all employees, including VIP and C-suite, ensuring white-glove service and security best practices.

You will manage hardware/software provisioning for a global workforce via MDM and Apple Business Manager, onboard/offboard staff, and support office builds and AV/telecom setups. You'll administer core SaaS platforms (Slack, Jira, Notion, 1Password, Google Workspace, Apple

Qualifications

5+ years in IT support or systems engineering.
Strong security awareness and best practices.
Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
Solid TCP/IP, networking, and firewall knowledge.
Experience with Meraki or similar enterprise networks.
Proven problem-solving with calm, methodical approach.
VIP and C-suite support experience with discretion.

Responsibilities

Provide IT support to all employees including VIPs and executives.
Enforce security best practices and train staff.
Manage hardware/software provisioning for a global workforce using MDM.
Onboarding, offboarding, re-provisioning processes.
Support setup of infrastructure including office builds and fit-outs.
Administer core SaaS platforms: Slack, Jira, Notion, 1Password, Google Workspace, Apple Business Manager.
Assist with AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini for staff.
Manage office LANs, Wi-Fi, and video conferencing hardware.
Oversee laptop logistics for new hires and leavers worldwide.
Configure network infrastructure (Meraki switches, access points, firewalls).
Vendor management and ISP engagement.
Support events and office moves.
