Job summary

Blockchain.com is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to join the Dallas-based Operations team. You will deliver white-glove IT support to all staff, including VIPs, and maintain hardware, software, and security across a global workforce.

Key responsibilities include managing core SaaS tools, MDM deployment, AV systems, and network infrastructure. The role requires 5+ years in IT, strong security practices, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT support or systems engineering experience.
• Strong security awareness and best practices knowledge.
• Ability to prioritize and execute quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, routing and firewalls.
• Experience with Meraki or similar enterprise networking platforms.
• Proactive problem-solving and calm, methodical incident handling.
• Independent, owner mindset with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Expertise in macOS and Google Workspace administration.
• Admin-level Jamf or similar MDM platforms and policy deployment.
• Experience with AV systems and conferencing hardware/software.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive IT support to all employees, including VIP and C-suite with high discretion.
• Implement security best practices and train staff accordingly.
• Maintain and provision hardware/software for a global workforce using MDM to deploy policies and updates.
• Handle onboarding, offboarding, and re-provisioning procedures.
• Support setup and management of office infrastructure including builds and fit-outs.
• Administer core SaaS platforms: Slack, Jira, Notion, 1Password, Google Workspace, Apple Business Manager; plus Microsoft 365, Adobe, DocuSign as needed.
• Assist employees with AI tools and guide adoption (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini).
• Manage office LANs, Wi-Fi, video conferencing, AV hardware and platforms.
