Job summary

Blockchain is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to join our Dallas-based Operations team. You will provide comprehensive IT support to all employees, including VIPs and C-suite, manage security, devices, MDM, and core SaaS platforms, and oversee office networks and AV systems.

You will collaborate across global teams, support AI tools, vendor management, and onboarding/offboarding, ensuring seamless device delivery and secure IT operations in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT support or systems engineering experience in fast-paced environments.
• Strong security awareness and current best practices.
• Ability to prioritize and execute quickly in a dynamic setting.
• Solid TCP/IP, networking, routing, and firewall knowledge.
• Experience with Meraki enterprise networking platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive IT support to all employees, including VIP and C-suite.
• Implement security best practices and train staff accordingly.
• Maintain and provision hardware/software for a global workforce via MDM.
• Handle onboarding, offboarding, and re-provisioning efficiently and securely.
• Support setup and management of infrastructure and office builds from ground up.
• Manage core SaaS platforms at admin level (Slack, Jira, Notion, 1Password, G Suite).
• Assist with AI tools queries and admin guidance for workflows.
• Manage office LANs, Wi-Fi, and AV hardware (Logitech, Owl) plus video platforms.
• Coordinate laptop logistics for hires/leavers; arrange shipments with carriers.
• Configure and manage network gear (Meraki switches, access points, firewalls).
• Handle vendor and ISP engagement (Verizon or similar is a bonus).
• Support operations across projects including events and office moves.
• Provide occasional out-of-hours support.

We are looking for a Senior IT Engineer to join our Operations team based in Dallas.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Provide comprehensive and timely IT support to all employees, including VIP andC-suite executives, delivering white-glove service with professionalism and discretion
• Exercise security best practices and monitor and train employees to do the same
• Maintain and provision employee hardware and software for a global workforce,leveraging Apple Business Manager and MDM platforms to deploy policies, pushupdates, and apply patch fixes at scale
• Perform onboarding, offboarding, and re-provisioning procedures efficiently andsecurely
• Support the setup and management of new and existing infrastructure, includingoffice builds and fit-outs from the ground up
• Manage and administer core SaaS platforms at an admin level, including Slack, Jira,Notion, 1Password, Google Workspace, and Apple Business Manager; additionalexperience with Microsoft 365, Adobe, and DocuSign is a plus
• Support employees with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and similar) andhandling queries, troubleshooting, and providing admin-level guidance to help teamsget the most out of AI in their workflows
• Manage office LANs, Wi-Fi, and video conferencing systems, with hands-onexperience supporting AV hardware (Logitech, Owl) and platforms (Google Meet,
• Zoom)

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• 5+ years of experience in IT support or systems engineering, with a track record ofoperating independently and thriving under pressure in fast-paced environments
• A high degree of security awareness and current knowledge of best practices
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and execute quickly and efficiently in a dynamic environment with ever-changing and competing demands
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, routing, and firewalls; hands-on experiencewith Meraki or similar enterprise networking platforms
• Superb problem-solving abilities with a calm, methodical approach to complexincidents
• Confident, outgoing, and whatever-it-takes attitude with the ability to workindependently and take full ownership of projects
• Previous startup or scale-up experience with the ability to manage multiple projectsacross varying timelines and priorities
• Strong proficiency in macOS and Google Workspace administration (essential)
• Experience with Jamf or equivalent MDM platforms at an admin level, includingcreating and managing policies, pushing updates, and deploying patch fixes; RipplingMDM experience is a bonus
• Experience with AV systems and video conferencing hardware (Logitech, Owl) andsoftware (Google Meet, Zoom)
• Admin-level experience across core SaaS tools: Slack, Jira, Notion, 1Password,
• Google Workspace, and Apple Business Manager; Microsoft 365, Adobe, and
• DocuSign experience is a plus
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT, and comfort supporting users atan admin level with queries and adoption
• Experience with office moves, builds
• Vendor management experience, including ISP engagement (Verizon or similar is abonus)
• VIP and C-suite support experience, with the professionalism and discretion thatcomes with it
• A genuine enthusiasm for being in the office and being a visible, go-to presence forthe team.
