Job summary

Blockchain.com in Dallas seeks a Senior IT Engineer to join the Operations team. You will provide global IT support, maintain security, and manage macOS, MDM, and key SaaS platforms. You’ll own onboarding/offboarding, hardware provisioning, office builds, AV setups, and vendor management. Remote-abroad options apply; four days/week in the office are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT support or systems engineering, with a track record of operating independently in fast-paced environments.
• High security awareness and knowledge of best practices.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and execute quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, routing, and firewalls; hands-on with Meraki or similar platforms.
• Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset.
• Startup/scale-up experience with multiple projects and timelines.
• Proficiency in macOS and Google Workspace administration.
• Experience with Jamf or equivalent MDM platforms and deploying updates.
• Experience with AV systems and video conferencing hardware and software.
• Admin-level experience across core SaaS tools: Slack, Jira, Notion, 1Password, Google Workspace, Apple Business Manager; Microsoft 365, Adobe, DocuSign.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive IT support to all employees, including VIP and C-suite executives, with white-glove service.
• Enforce security best practices and train employees accordingly.
• Maintain and provision hardware/software for a global workforce using MDM and ABM.
• Handle onboarding, offboarding, and re-provisioning efficiently and securely.
• Support setup and management of infrastructure and office builds from ground up.
• Administer core SaaS platforms at admin level (Slack, Jira, Notion, 1Password, Google Workspace, ABM).
• Assist employees with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) and drive adoption.
• Manage office networks, LAN/Wi-Fi, and AV hardware and conferencing tools.
• Coordinate laptop logistics for new hires and leavers across global carriers.
• Configure and manage Meraki network gear and firewall rules.
• Vendor management and ISP engagement.
• Support events, office moves, and after-hours needs.
