Job summary

Motive is hiring a Senior IT Engineer to design, build, and scale systems for a global workforce. You’ll own end-user computing, identity, collaboration tooling, and core IT operations, reporting to the IT Director.

The role emphasizes reliability, security, and user experience while aligning technical work with business needs. The position is hands-on and systems-minded, requiring collaboration across teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT engineering, systems administration, network engineering, or related corporate IT role.
• Experience supporting modern corporate IT environments incl. identity platforms, collaboration tools, endpoints, and device management.
• Strong written documentation and cross-functional communication; ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale corporate IT infrastructure and services for on-site and remote employees.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across endpoints, identity, collaboration platforms, and networks.
• Develop secure, scalable internal tools and automations to boost productivity and reliability.
• Maintain technical standards, documentation, and operational processes for reliability and security.
• Translate stakeholder needs into well-engineered IT solutions in collaboration with multiple teams.
• Act as IT subject matter expert and drive cross-functional projects.
