Job summary

TeamLogic IT of San Ramon is seeking a Level 3 Senior IT Engineer to act as the highest technical escalation point on our service delivery team, supporting a diverse portfolio of East Bay clients. You will architect cloud migrations, mentor junior staff, and present technology roadmaps to executive teams.

You will resolve complex issues, lead server and network upgrades, and implement cybersecurity measures while maintaining thorough client documentation and strengthening relationships with SMB

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 2-3 years as a Level 3 / Senior Engineer at an MSP.
• Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Strong hands-on experience with virtualization: Microsoft Hyper-V and Azure Cloud.
• Solid proficiency with Microsoft 365 administration: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Azure AD/Entra ID, and Intune.

Responsibilities

• Own and resolve the most complex technical escalations from Level 1 and 2 engineers.
• Lead projects by designing and delivering server migrations, cloud deployments, and network upgrades.
• Implement and manage cybersecurity solutions including EDR/MDR, SIEM, MFA, email security, and vulnerability management.
• Administer Hyper-V, Windows Server, Active Directory, and M365 environments across client sites.
• Configure and manage firewalls, switches, routers, and VPNs (Cisco, Fortinet, SonicWALL, Meraki).
• Document work thoroughly in PSA/RMM platforms and mentor junior engineers.
