Job summary

Next Perimeter in Tampa is hiring a Senior IT Engineer to own delivering client projects and serving as the final technical escalation point for our help desk. This is a hands-on role for an engineer who loves to build while understanding business value.

You will lead network and cloud migrations, design secure environments, mentor technicians, and contribute to our IT and security blueprint. The role emphasizes practical outcomes, documentation, and a calm, structured approach, with hybrid work

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT engineering with mastery in Microsoft and security stack.
• Experience leading Microsoft 365 migrations and client onboardings.
• Ability to design and implement network, identity, and endpoint solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead client projects from scope to handoff, including network builds, migrations, and onboarding.
• Own the hardest tickets beyond Tier III, identify root causes, and implement lasting fixes.
• Mentor technicians on cloud identity, endpoint management, and networking.
• Document configurations and handoffs to enable seamless team handoffs.
