Job summary

DataBank Holdings Ltd. in Dallas, TX, seeks an IT Engineer 3 to handle complex technical issues escalated from Tier I/II, manage system configurations, network services, and automation tasks.

This role requires solid technical expertise in Windows, Mac, Linux, virtualization (VMware/Proxmox), scripting (Python, PowerShell), and experience with identity and access management (Okta). You will collaborate across teams, automate provisioning, and contribute to IT process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
• Strong knowledge of SSO technologies and Okta.
• Proficient in Windows, Mac OS, and Linux server administration; virtualization experience.
• Experience with ITSM frameworks (ITIL) and ticketing systems.
• Strong scripting in Python and PowerShell; development experience a plus.
• Ability to work with upper management on projects; act as a senior technical resource.
• Strong asset lifecycle management skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve high-level technical issues related to hardware, software, and network configurations.
• Manage software deployments, updates, and patches for desktops and servers.
• Create automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, and AI tools.
• Collaborate with Tier I/II engineers to resolve escalated tickets and share best practices.
• Participate in IT project implementations and provide technical insights for upgrades or new technologies.
• Assist with managing user accounts, permissions, and group policies (Active Directory).
• Support configuration and maintenance of company-wide applications.
• Mentor and guide lower-level staff.
