Job summary

University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia is seeking a Senior IT Endpoint Support Specialist to join ISC’s HireIT Services team. You will administer and support endpoint management for Windows and macOS devices, deploy software, apply patches, and ensure security and compliance.

You will provide advanced technical support, escalate complex issues, and help design and improve workflows. This role requires 2–3 years of experience, a BS, and hands-on experience with BigFix, Jamf, and Intune.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science and 2–3 years of experience required.
• Experience supporting Windows and macOS in an academic or professional services environment.
• Experience using endpoint management systems such as BigFix, Jamf, Intune.
• Jamf 200 certification or equivalent demonstrated experience in Jamf Pro in an enterprise.
• Strong client-focused approach, adaptability, and clear communication.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials and document processes.
• Proficient with currently supported Windows and macOS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support endpoint management for Windows and macOS devices, including OS upgrades, software deployment, patching, security remediation and compliance monitoring.
• Provide advanced technical support and consult with clients of varying technical levels.
• Serve as escalation point for complex endpoint, application, and device management issues with strong client service.
• Design, implement, and improve endpoint management processes, standards, workflows, and automation.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements for endpoint security and usability.
• Participate in Endpoint Team initiatives, testing, and projects.
• Manage endpoint lifecycle activities including imaging, provisioning, deployment, asset management, refresh, and inventory reconciliation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, procedures, and client communications.
• Occasional after-hours coverage may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.
