Job summary

BillionToOne is seeking a Senior IT Desktop Support Technician to support end users in a fast-paced, regulated lab environment. You will manage macOS/Windows endpoints, device management, and Jira Service Management workflows, while upholding HIPAA and security standards.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in IT desktop support, strong documentation skills, and experience leading IT initiatives in high-growth settings. Onsite work in Menlo Park, CA is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT desktop support or similar role.
• Proven expertise in macOS and Google Workspace support.
• Strong proficiency with Kandji, Microsoft Intune, and Jira Service Management (JSM) including queues, automation, SLAs, dashboards.
• Solid understanding of biotech lab IT environments and HIPAA compliance.
• Ability to create and maintain clear documentation.
• Experience leading IT operations or support initiatives in high-growth organizations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and focus on end-user experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced desktop support for macOS and Google Workspace environments.
• Support lab IT environments, Windows laptops/desktops.
• Manage device management platforms (Iru, Intune) for security/compliance.
• Leverage Jira Service Management to manage workflows and metrics.
• Ensure uptime and reliability for biotech lab IT systems.
• Design and optimize IT support processes and docs.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and procurement lifecycle.
• Collaborate on new tech rollouts and system upgrades.
