ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company seeks an IT Configuration Manager to direct configuration management across enterprise IT environments, ensuring CMDB data is accurate and governed throughout the service lifecycle.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, applications, and security teams to prevent configuration drift and support incident, problem, and change processes in a federal setting, delivering actionable insights for risk assessment and service restoration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in IT field.
• 8+ years in configuration management and CMDB administration.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or BMC Remedy and ITIL basics.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the CMDB data model and relationships.
• Enforce CM policies and ITIL-aligned procedures.
• Integrate CMDB data with change, incident, and problem workflows.
• Conduct regular CMDB audits and remediation activities.
• Work with platform admins to optimize CMDB in ServiceNow.
• Produce reports and visualizations for risk and capacity planning.
• Coordinate CMDB with other ITIL processes across lifecycle.
• Lead CMDB initiatives in hybrid environments.
