Job summary
Washington State Department of Transportation seeks a Senior IT Business Analyst to support the One Washington and Workday transitions for the Department of Social and Health Services in Olympia. You will analyze current processes, translate business needs into clear requirements, and collaborate with financial and technical teams to ensure solutions meet business goals.

Qualifications
- Master's degree in information technology, information systems, computer science, business administration, or a closely related field and five years of professional IT experience.
- Bachelor's degree in one of those fields and seven years of professional IT experience.
- An associate degree in one of those fields and nine years of professional IT experience.
- Eleven years of professional IT experience.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial processes, business needs, and system impacts.
- Gather, document, validate, and prioritize requirements.
- Facilitate discussions with business and technical teams.
- Map workflows and compare current processes with Workday capabilities.
- Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements and specifications.
- Coordinate with developers, testers, and business partners.
- Support test planning, user acceptance testing, and defect analysis.
- Track requirements, deliverables, and project issues.
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership.
