Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) seeks an IT Business Analyst to bridge business needs with technical teams. You will independently manage requirements, design test plans, and oversee QA for mission-critical software solutions.

You will guide automated solutions, mentor staff, and apply project management to large IT projects from inception to completion, with hybrid remote work and occasional travel.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or two-year degree in computer science or IT plus relevant IT analyst experience.
• Two years of experience as a Business/Technical Analyst performing consultative, admin, or PM services.
• Additional qualifying experience may substitute education per policy.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, analyze, and develop business, functional, and non-functional software requirements across teams.
• Support and troubleshoot large-scale, mission-critical applications and resolve defects.
• Gather requirements from diverse stakeholders and coordinate with external partners.
• Analyze system functionality and identify scope discrepancies and issues.
• Define quality assurance posture, testing procedures, and automated testing vision for web apps.
• Coordinate design sessions among programming, testing and business partners for approvals.
• Maintain and enhance high-risk software across SDLC phases.
• Lead meetings and training sessions, developing learning materials for end-users.
• Represent IT analysis needs to DSHS teams and contracted providers.
• Mentor team members in testing tools, Agile/Lean practices, and WaTech standards.
