Job summary

The DC Department of Human Services (DHS), Office of Information Systems, seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst for its Application Software Development team. This 100% onsite role in Washington DC focuses on requirements capture, traceability, workflow and system analysis, and comprehensive software documentation within an Agile/SCRUM delivery environment.

Develops requirements, workflow, and system analysis with business stakeholders.
Analyzes and designs computer systems to meet business and performance specs.

Responsibilities

Capture, verify, and manage requirements and traceability in support of product development, test, and delivery.
Develop requirements, workflow, and system analysis; work with business stakeholders to develop software requirements and specifications.
Analyze, design, and evaluate computer systems to satisfy business requirements; establish functional, non-functional, and performance specifications.
Develop and update software documentation, user guides, Design Document / RTM drafts, release notes, SOPs, and process diagrams (Visio).
Conduct business and technical presentations for the customer and provide innovative solutions to complex technical problems.
Collaborate with developers and QA to ensure business and system requirements are met and to enhance functionality.
