Job summary

Oregon Department of Transportation, Enterprise Application Services Section in Salem, seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst. You will bridge technical teams and business units, gathering requirements, translating them into actionable specs, conducting testing, and guiding vendor and custom development efforts.

Qualifications

Six (6) years of information systems experience in software or system analysis.
Associate degree or two-year IT program OR bachelor’s degree with two years of IS experience; master’s may substitute.

Responsibilities

Gather and translate user requirements into technical specifications.
Develop detailed documentation: process flows, design specs, use cases, test plans and procedures.
Lead system testing and user acceptance testing; maintain test plans and reports.
Communicate findings via reports and dashboards; support training for users and staff.
