Dallas County IT is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to provide strategic business analysis across departments. The role partners with business units to understand strategy, processes, services and roadmaps while identifying operational, financial and tech risks.

The position leads a team of analysts and coordinates with IT staff on requirements, testing and project deliverables to ensure solutions meet business needs and governance standards.

Formación

• Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; Master’s degree preferred.
• Five (5) years of job related experience.
• Experience in delivering business analysis and/or in areas like business transformation, optimization, relationship management or process management preferred.
• Business Analysis, ITIL, and/or Project Management certifications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Interfaces with IT staff to design new programs, processes, projects and software.
• Assist with analysis, validation, testing, defect tracking, and training as needed.
• Coordinate and monitor software development activities and assist with test procedures and scripts.
• Researches and prepares statistical reports to support management decisions.
• Ensure alignment between user requirements, funding, technical requirements, and system capabilities.
• Lead teams in defining system requirements using multiple disciplines.
