Job summary

Dallas County is seeking an experienced Senior IT Business Analyst to provide strategic business analysis across business units at 500 Elm St, Dallas, TX. The role focuses on understanding customer strategies, processes, services, roadmaps and operating context to identify risks and opportunities.

You will coordinate with IT staff to design programs, validate requirements, assist with testing, and drive changes that align with business goals and funding constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems or related field; Master's preferred.
• Five (5) years of job related experience in business analysis.
• Certifications in Business Analysis, ITIL, and/or Project Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT staff and business partners to design programs, processes and software; assist with analysis, testing, defect tracking and training.
• Prepare statistical reports from systems and surveys for management decisions.
• Ensure alignment between user requirements, funding, technical requirements and system capabilities.
• Lead project teams in defining system requirements across multiple disciplines.
• Prioritize requirements based on business value and impact.
• Produce project analysis documents (BRD, scope matrix, use cases, UAT plans).
• Conduct change impact analysis and document business rules.
