Job summary

MiniMed seeks a Senior IT Business Analyst for Digital Communications to translate business needs into implementable requirements, with a focus on SMS and digital customer engagement. You will work across Digital Technology, Marketing, Quality, Legal, Privacy, and external partners to ensure compliant, effective solutions.

The role requires understanding end-to-end customer journeys, HIPAA/TCPA/privacy considerations, and experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and CRM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience in digital technology, communications technology or other relevant experience.
• Advanced Degree with 2+ years of experience in digital technology, communications technology or other relevant experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in business analysis, systems analysis, digital technology, product delivery, or comparable roles.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements for technology implementation.
• Experience analyzing end-to-end business processes and customer journeys and translating them into detailed, technically implementable requirements.
• Experience supporting digital customer communications, with knowledge of SMS, email, and digital customer engagement channels.
• Experience in the medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or another highly regulated industry.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA, TCPA, privacy, consent, and communication preference considerations associated with digital customer communications.
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM capabilities supporting digital communications and customer engagement.
• Experience developing end-to-end test scenarios and coordinating UAT, defect triage, and business validation.
• Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills with the ability to identify gaps, edge cases, downstream impacts, and dependencies.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate between business and technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a matrixed environment.
• Experience with Jira, Litmus, Figma, and Miro.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Manager and stakeholders to understand digital communication needs and outcomes.
• Lead detailed requirements gathering and analysis for digital communication initiatives, focusing on SMS.
• Translate business needs into clear business and functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Validate requirements with business users across MiniMed before development.
• Ensure regulatory requirements (privacy, consent) are incorporated into requirements.
• Document current and future state processes and customer journeys to support design and implementation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with Architecture, platform owners, developers, QA, and vendors throughout design and development.
• Support backlog development and refinement for technical delivery.
• Maintain traceability and communicate changes and decisions to impacted teams.
• Prepare digital communication capabilities for testing, release, and production deployment.
• Develop end-to-end test scenarios and coordinate UAT and defect triage.
• Support release readiness and post-production stabilization.
