Spring Health in the United States is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to turn manual processes into reliable automations across core systems. You’ll own complex automation projects, define reusable patterns, and partner with security and compliance to shape standards.

You’ll work as a technical peer with cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships, and mentor engineers while delivering scalable, AI-powered integrations that move the business forward in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in automation, integration, or IT systems engineering.
• Hands-on delivery of business-critical automations.
• Experience with AI-powered and agentic workflows.
• Experience with iPaaS like Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft, Tray, or n8n.
• Strong scripting in Python.

Responsibilities

• Design complex automations and integrations across Spring Health systems.
• Document approaches with options, risks, and tradeoffs.
• Diagnose data contracts and fix root causes.
• Develop reusable patterns and drive adoption.
• Guide how integrations are authenticated and tested.
• Own monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
• Mentor IT Systems Engineers and grow team capability.
• Collaborate with vendors and platform partners.
• Advise on architectural standards with Security and Compliance.
• Build durable cross-team relationships.
