Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC is seeking an IT Internal Audit Manager to lead technology-focused audits across the enterprise IT environment. You will plan, execute, and report on audits that strengthen risk management and governance.

The ideal candidate will evaluate IT general and application controls, support SOX compliance, and partner with IT and business leaders. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive IT audit experience.
• CIA or CISA certification required; CPA or CISSP preferred.
• Experience with AuditBoard platform.
• Experience with SOX control testing.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with IT controls, audit methodologies, and risk management frameworks.
• Location: Phoenix, Arizona (onsite).

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute IT audits, including ITGC, application controls, and operational audits.
• Develop and maintain the annual risk-based IT audit plan with Internal Audit leadership.
• Lead SOX IT control testing, including scoping, walkthroughs, design and operating effectiveness testing, and remediation tracking.
• Apply COBIT, COSO, NIST, and ISO 27001 to assess control environments and identify risk.
• Manage AuditBoard platform and use it to document workpapers, findings, and controls.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff throughout the audit lifecycle.
• Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to senior management and external auditors.
• Build relationships with IT leadership, business units, and external audit partners.
• Track audit issues and management action plans to ensure timely remediation.
