Job summary

Management Performance Associates is seeking an IT Internal Audit Manager to lead technology-focused audits across our enterprise IT environment. The role plans, executes, and reports on audits to strengthen risk management and governance.

You will evaluate ITGC and application controls, support SOX compliance, and collaborate with IT and business leadership. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT audit, holds CIA/CISA, and is proficient with AuditBoard.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
• CIA or CISA certification required; CPA or CISSP preferred.
• In-depth experience with AuditBoard.
• 5+ years of IT audit/internal audit/risk experience including people-management.
• Familiarity with IT controls, audit methodologies, and risk management frameworks.
• Experience with SOX control testing.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute IT audits including ITGC, application controls, and operational audits.
• Develop and maintain the annual risk-based IT audit plan with Internal Audit leadership.
• Lead SOX IT control testing and remediation tracking.
• Apply COBIT, COSO, NIST, ISO 27001 to assess control environments and identify risk.
• Manage and develop the AuditBoard platform and document workpapers, findings, and controls.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff through the audit lifecycle.
• Communicate findings and risks to senior management, stakeholders, and external auditors.
• Build relationships with IT leadership, business units, and external audit partners.
• Track audit issues and management action plans for timely remediation.
• Stay current on technology risks, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
