Job summary

Alchemy is seeking a hands-on IT leader to build and run business systems, owning enterprise applications and their integrations. You will manage the IT team, develop automations, and guide AI-driven workflows across the company.

You’ll configure applications, write integrations, and ship automations while setting priorities, coaching engineers, and maintaining reliable IT services. Join a hands-on, player-coach environment focused on AI-enabled efficiency.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience administering enterprise SaaS applications and building integrations.
• Strong Salesforce experience and ability to learn unfamiliar business systems.
• Ability to build and debug with APIs, scripting, and workflow platforms such as n8n or Okta Workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own business applications: administer Salesforce and connected sales tools, People Ops systems; configure, data quality, permissions, escalations.
• Build across systems: write and maintain API integrations, scripts, and workflows; test, monitor, and document.
• Redesign work around AI: identify workflows to rebuild; deliver agents and automations with context and approved steps.
• Manage the team: set priorities, hire, coach engineers, and balance service with project work.
• Raise the team's AI capability: build with engineers, create shared tools and runbooks.
• Keep IT service reliable: oversee support, onboarding/offboarding, escalations; ensure coverage.
• Make automation safe to operate: ensure least-privilege access and audit trails.
• Own the application roadmap and spend: evaluate tools and renewals; measure reliability and adoption.
