Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking an experienced information technology analyst with deep expertise in clinical and operational systems, including Epic. The role focuses on designing and presenting solutions to improve patient care, engagement, and efficiency, while guiding teams through optimal configuration choices.

The position requires strong systems analysis, programming/design skills, and a track record in hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or related field; or 4 years of equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 3 years working with systems analysis, programming/design; and
• 5 years of additional relevant experience: application support, implementation; or
• Development experience with applications in a hospital or medical industry.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, tests, implements, and supports IT solutions for operational and clinical needs.
• Provides consultation for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
• Understands system options and configurations and guides teams on best configurations.
• Analyzes, designs, and documents improvements; produces written reports.
• Creates thorough system design and build documentation; mentors other analysts.
• Performs advanced system analysis and troubleshooting to implement new functionality and integrate end-to-end systems.
• Leads large/complex projects or initiatives and coordinates all phases of upgrades.
• Provides production support and ensures continued system maintenance and optimization.
