Qualifications

• Education: Associates degree, preferred.
• Epic Certification required.
• Four years of progressively responsible experience in large healthcare IT systems or MIS.
• Experience with Epic or other Health Information Systems.
• Experience solving complex problems and supporting users.
• Ability to lead and mentor others.
• Knowledge of Epic application support, tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Translates user and department Epic needs into technical solutions.
• Provides intermediate to advanced analysis, design, build, test, and implementation of Epic systems.
• Enforces technical development and information management standards.
• Delivers ongoing Epic and application support and participates in after-hours on-call rotation.
• Plans, prioritizes and executes projects with regular status updates.
• Contributes to staff training and knowledge transfer.
• Demonstrates strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ensures safe care and adherence to policies while supporting department goals.
• Serves as a mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
