Job summary

Tucson Medical Center is seeking an IT analyst to support clinical information systems and related applications. You will participate in requirements gathering, design, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system utilization while protecting patient privacy.

The role requires a Bachelor's in IT, healthcare, or related field, plus 1 year in healthcare and 1 year in clinical applications. Epic certification is preferred and may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, healthcare, business, or related field.
• 1 year of work experience in a healthcare setting.
• 1 year of clinical applications experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
• Will be required to certify on one or more Epic applications and maintain certification.

Responsibilities

• Attends and participates in team, project and department meetings to increase awareness and information flow.
• Provides frequent written status updates to customers, team members, and department management using approved modes of communication.
• Identifies solutions to complex clinical directives or implementation impediments.
• Provides consultative services to customers and technologists as to workflow processes and technology incorporation.
• Participates in on-call support and customer rounding activities.
• Documents processes and creates action plans delineating steps and procedures.
