Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Senior IT Systems Administrator, IT Applications, to lead integrations and Atlassian administration in a fast-paced environment. You will architect RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and webhooks, connecting SaaS tools with ERP and billing systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical discipline with 3+ years of hands-on experience in large enterprise environments; or 5+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience designing and implementing API integrations (REST, GraphQL, webhooks).
• Experience with scripting (Groovy, Python, or Java).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful delivery of projects.
• Create and maintain detailed technical and user-facing documentation for internal teams and end users.
• Design, build, and maintain integrations using RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and webhooks to connect SaaS platforms and internal systems.
• Integrate business applications (CRM, ERP, billing) with data mapping and real‑time synchronization.
• Apply API & security best practices including OAuth and API keys, error handling and monitoring.
• Support and upgrade Atlassian applications like Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.
