Job summary

JT is seeking a Senior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to lead security efforts for a large software development program. You will develop and enforce security policies, configure and manage security tools, and coordinate with the ISSM to maintain an optimal IA posture.

The role requires extensive experience with IAVA management, SSPs, and system security documentation, plus a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 10 years of ISSO experience.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience with IAVA management tools.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience preparing SSPs and security documentation.
• Experience evaluating software systems to meet security requirements.
• Experience enforcing information systems security policies on large programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementing and enforcing information systems security policies and standards.
• Assist in evaluating security solutions for processing multiple data types.
• Assist with Configuration Management for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Analyze threats and develop best practice incident detection and remediation methodologies.
• Maintain records for devices and network components, including system upgrades.
• Develop and maintain system security plans and IA documentation.
• Support IAVA management and security scans, and apply patches.
