Job summary

Unisity, LLC is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to lead security operations for a large software development program. The role involves safeguarding data, implementing policies, and coordinating with security professionals to mitigate threats across the system lifecycle.

The candidate will manage IAVA remediation, develop SSPs and IA documentation, and maintain the system's security policy and posture, including ongoing risk assessments and security evaluations

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of ISSO experience.
• At least 5 years of experience supporting IAVA management.
• At least 5 years of experience preparing SSPs and security documentation.
• Strong knowledge of security tools, encryption, and network protocols.
• Experience evaluating security solutions and enforcing security policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementing and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Assist in evaluating security solutions to meet requirements for multiple information types.
• Assist with Configuration Management for security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Analyze threats and implement incident detection, reporting, and remediation practices.
• Maintain records for workstations, servers, routers, firewalls, and network devices.
• Maintain operational security posture for information systems.
• Support ISSM in maintaining appropriate IA posture for the system/program/enclave.
• Develop and maintain Certification & Accreditation documentation.
