Job summary

Leidos in Annapolis Junction, MD seeks a Senior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to lead security for a large software development program, covering maintenance, IT support, systems integration, and lifecycle protection.

The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph, 12+ years ISSO experience, and deep knowledge of security policies, IAVA management, and SSP documentation. Strong analytic and teamwork skills are essential to protect sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12+ years of relevant experience.
• TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
• At least 10 years as an ISSO in varied environments.
• At least 5 years using tools for IAVA management.
• At least 5 years producing SSPs and security documentation.
• Experience evaluating security of software systems/architectures.
• Experience implementing security policies on large IT programs.
• Strong communication and teamwork, with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Evaluate security solutions to meet requirements for multiple information types.
• Manage configuration for security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Analyze threats and implement incident detection and remediation practices.
• Maintain records for devices and network gear including upgrades.
• Ensure security solutions meet requirements for processing information.
• Maintain operational security posture for information systems.
• Support ISSM in maintaining IA posture for systems/enclaves.
• Develop and update system security plans and IA documentation.
• Support IAVA management and security patching across sites.
• Provide CM for security-relevant software, hardware, and firmware.
