The role requires engaging with ISSM and managing IAVA actions. Qualifications include 10+ years as an ISSO, 5+ years with IAVA tools, SSPs, and security docs, plus a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of ISSO experience in secure IS operations.
• Minimum 5 years using tools for IAVA management.
• Minimum 5 years handling SSPs and security documentation.
• Experience evaluating software/system security to meet requirements.
• Experience enforcing security policies on large IT programs.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementing and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Assist in evaluating security solutions to meet requirements for processing multiple information types.
• Assist with configuration management for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Analyze threats and develop best practice methods for incident detection and remediation.
• Maintain records of network devices and systems, including upgrades.
• Evaluate security solutions against security requirements for processing information.
• Maintain operational security posture for information systems.
• Support ISSM in maintaining appropriate IA posture for the system/program/enclave.
• Develop and maintain documentation for Certification & Accreditation.
• Develop and update system security plans and IA documentation.
• Support IAVA management, including patches and scans.
