Job summary

ELEVI Associates, LLC is seeking a Senior ISSO in Maryland to lead cybersecurity initiatives across major programs. The role demands active TS/SCI with Poly clearance, RMF/ATO leadership, and hands-on work with XACTA and Splunk.

You will coordinate with ISSMs, ISSEs, system owners, and AO to ensure security compliance and maintain SSPs/POA&Ms while guiding a team of cybersecurity professionals. Excellent communication with customers and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
• Security+ or other IAT II/III level certification that is currently active.
• Proficiency with XACTA and RMF process, including managing IATT and ATO processes.
• Proficiency with Splunk.
• Experience conducting assessments of existing IT architecture for compliance with security requirements (e.g., ICD 503).
• Experience with maintaining system security documentation (SSPs, SAPs, POA&Ms).
• ISSO/ISSE experience preferred.
• Proven leadership of cybersecurity initiatives for large programs.
• Strong team management and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical security assessments and contribute to security systems.
• Ensure system security compliance, manage risks, and support certification activities.
• Collaborate with application leads, sysadmins, DBAs, developers, and testers to achieve ATO.
• Answer security questions and ensure built-in security in development.
• Support security assessment events and respond to ISSMs and SCAs.
• Develop SSPs, POA&Ms, and other security documentation using XACTA.
• Lead IATT and ATO efforts with stakeholders and AO.
• Implement and validate NIST 800-53 controls in cloud-native DPaaS environments.
• Apply Zero Trust principles to secure data services.
