Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to lead security for a major software development program at the Annapolis Junction, MD site. The role includes implementing and enforcing security policies, supporting ISSM, and managing IAVA responses, SSPs, and IA documentation.

The ideal candidate has TS/SCI with polygraph, 10+ years as an ISSO, and strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work with security professionals across teams in a complex IT environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 12+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• TS/SCI with polygraph required.
• 10+ years ISSO experience in secure environments.
• 5+ years with IAVA management tools.
• 5+ years documenting SSPs and security policies.
• Experience with security tools, encryption, and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce information system security policies and standards.
• Evaluate security solutions for multiple information types.
• Manage configuration for security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Analyze threats and implement incident detection and remediation.
• Maintain assets and records for security devices and systems.
• Support ISSM in maintaining appropriate IA posture.
• Develop and update system security plans and IA docs.
• Manage IAVA processes and security scans across sites.
• Provide CM for security-relevant software and firmware.
• Administer authentication mechanisms for the system.
