Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II for 100% onsite work. You will oversee cybersecurity compliance, conduct assessments, and mentor ISSOs while applying DoD and NIST directives. Travel to other RTX sites is expected about 10–20%.

The role requires an active security clearance, strong DoD/NIST experience, and hands-on leadership in a large, secure environment.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years, or an advanced degree with 5+ years of related experience.
• IAM Level I certification (Security+ or equivalent)
• Experience considered in any combination of the above

Responsibilities

• Review and approve configuration management requests within authority.
• Conduct technical and administrative assessments.
• Integrate new cybersecurity processes, procedures and tools.
• Support ISSOs and Cybersecurity Managers in creating, reviewing and updating cybersecurity documentation.
• Oversee ISSOs to ensure implementation of policies and procedures.
• Travel to other RTX locations 10-20%
