Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) II for 100% onsite work in Tucson, AZ. You will lead security programs, develop technical standards, and advise on compliant architectures across defense initiatives.

The role requires a university degree with 8+ years in cyber/security, experience with regulatory requirements, and the ability to obtain DoD IAM III within six months. Travel up to 10% may be needed.

Qualifications

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years in Cyber/Security or related fields.
Experience with compliance regulations such as NISPOM, DAAPM, JAFAN, ICD, FAA, HIPAA, or other government requirements.
Must obtain a DoD 8570.01-M IAM III certification within six months if not already held.

Responsibilities

Conducts briefings and presentations for multiple levels of the business.
Serves as SME for designated tools, ensuring alignment with Raytheon’s standards.
Develops and supports technical standards while balancing program and mission needs.
Provides strategic direction to drive technological innovation.
Collaborates with architecture teams to design secure, compliant solutions.
Performs gap analysis and risk evaluations of new capabilities.
Offers expert advisement in Customer discussions and approvals.
Leads cybersecurity projects with cost-benefit and risk analyses.
Supports enterprise initiatives and travels up to 10%.
