Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, seeks a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support our Tucson, AZ site onsite. You will work with the Information Systems Security Manager to ensure adherence to NIST SPs, customer directives, and company policies for all applicable classified environments.

The role requires a university degree or equivalent with 5+ years of related experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Active security clearance and ability to work onsite.
• Security certification within six months after hire.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and monitoring system compliance, auditing, security plan development and training.
• Investigating information system security violations and producing corrective action reports.
• Reviewing and approving configuration management requests within authority.
• Conducting technical and administrative assessments.
• Integrating new cybersecurity processes, procedures, and tools.
• Support the creation, review and update of cybersecurity documentation.
