Job summary

CACI International is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support a DoD program, implementing a secure, enterprise IT service model across CONUS/OCONUS field support. Lead and maintain IA programs, security policy adherence, and continuous monitoring aligned with RMF/DIACAP frameworks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience; degree may substitute for 5 years.
• DoD 8570 IAT or IAT II certification required.
• Familiarity with RMF or DIACAP processes.
• Experience with classified environments and information systems.
• Knowledge of CORAs requirements and process preferred.
• Knowledge of eMASS preferred.
• ITIL Foundation preferred.
• Cloud experience and DevSecOps experience are desired.
• DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Strong technical written and verbal communication.
• Ability to lead others with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Verify system access requirements and ensure signed AUA on file.
• Maintain IA program plans, guidance, and SOPs as focal point.
• Ensure DIACAP/RMF alignment in accreditation packages.
• Oversee System Owners to follow IS policies.
• Review weekly security bulletins (RCERT, ACERT, IAVA, DISA).
• Provide reporting on IAVA status and implementation health.
• Support CORA processes and documentation for DAF systems.
• Implement and enforce IS security policies.
• Update policies per NIST 800-53r5 families.
• Coordinate CM policy changes for hardware/software approvals.
• Respond to security incidents; report to ISSM and IAM.
• Participate in Change Advisory Board and Demand Approval Board.
• Maintain knowledge of system functions, security safeguards, ops security.
• Attend required technical and security training.
• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, availability risk levels.
• Provide status updates to government on IA and security health.
• Develop/accreditation/assessment docs; maintain CORA packages.
• Conduct continuous monitoring per DAF cATO methodology.
