Job summary

CAC I International Inc. seeks an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support a DoD program. The ISSO will implement and oversee an enterprise IT service delivery model focusing on secure operations, lifecycle support, and end-user security for CONUS environments.

The role emphasizes DIACAP/RMF processes, accreditation maintenance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in ISSO/IA, DoD RMF/DIACAP experience, and a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of ISSO/IA experience required.
• DoD RMF/DIACAP familiarity preferred.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Experience with classified environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of NIST 800-53 controls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify system access requirements and ensure an Acceptable Use Agreement is on file.
• Assist in preparation and maintenance of IA plans, instructions, policies, and SOPs.
• Maintain DIACAP/RMF accreditation packages and systems' status.
• Oversee System Owners to ensure IS policies are followed.
• Respond to security incidents and report to ISSM and management.
• Participate in Change Advisory Board and Demand Approval Board.
