Job summary

CA​CI International Inc. is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support a DoD program, implementing an enterprise IT service delivery model for secure, high-quality services enabling mission success.

The ISSO will lead the DIACAP/RMF processes, align with CORA requirements, and oversee IS policies across environments, ensuring proper accreditation and security health. A DoD Secret Clearance is required and travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree may substitute for 5 years)
• DoD 8570 IAT or IAT level II certified
• Familiarity with RMF or DIACAP processes
• Experience with classified environments and information systems
• Knowledge of eMASS preferred
• Knowledge of VDI preferred
• Knowledge of CORAs requirements and process preferred
• ITIL Foundation preferred
• Cloud experience
• DevSecOps experience
• DoD Secret Clearance
• Strong technical written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work and lead other team members with little oversight to accomplish sprints and tasks

Responsibilities

• Verify all requirements for system access are met and AUA on file.
• Prepare, distribute, and maintain IA program plans, guidance, and SOPs.
• Maintain DIACAP or RMF certifications and accreditation packages.
• Oversee System Owners to follow IS policies and procedures.
• Review weekly security bulletins affecting site information systems.
• Report current IAVA statuses and implementation to maintain security health.
• Support CORA documentation and ongoing risk assessment.
• Implement and enforce IS security policies.
• Update policies to reflect NIST 800-53r5 requirements.
• Coordinate CM policy adherence for hardware/software changes.
• Respond to security incidents and report to ISSM/ISSO and management.
• Participate in Change Advisory Board and Demand Approval Board.
• Maintain system security documentation and lifecycle security requirements.
• Provide status updates on IA and system health to government officials.
• Initiate protective measures with ISSM approval.
• Develop accreditation/certification and ATO/Authorization documentation.
